FinXL IT Professional Services is an innovative Australian owned company providing our clients with technology enabled business solutions and consulting services.
We are seeking a rockstar performance tester to join our team. You will be working onsite, Melbourne CBD. Initial 6 months contract with immediate start.
Responsibilities include:
- Performing technical testing of software components, particularly addressing non-functional requirements like performance, security, scalability and robustness.
- Taking the initiative for developing the application performance test suite, continuous integration testing and investigating application bottlenecks.
- Collaborating with internal stakeholders including product owners, business analysts and developers.
- Working autonomously, but in close collaboration with the team, in a fast paced environment.
- Demonstrating personal drive for continuous learning and personal improvement
- Identify and organize all environmental needs before testing begins test execution.
- Report the system stability to key stakeholders and recommend system configurations
The following requirements are essential:
- Proven experience in running all aspects of Performance testing, such as Stress testing and Volume testing.
- Proven experience in Performance testing web services (API’s) and web applications using manual and automated approaches.
- Proven experience with Cloud(AWS) to On-Premise Integration Performance Testing.
- JMeter experience is essential
- Experience in using GIT, Jenkins or similar CI/CD tools
- Experience in using monitoring tools like Prometheus, Splunk and SQL DB
- Strong knowledge of micro services architecture and cloud technologies
- Ability to review and triage the performance outcomes and provide quick feedback to team
- Experience in using JIRA for Test & Requirements Management.
- Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in Agile frameworks, e.g. scrum, kanban, SAFe
