Our client is looking for a strong strategic consultant who can confidently lead complex strategic planning activities. The senior strategy analyst/ strategy Manager will be the driving force in developing and maintaining strategies that direct action across our clients different business units  while achieving corporate objectives in key functional areas of Technology, People, Process, Automation, Workforce, Service, Outsourcing and Customer.

The Senior Strategy Analyst / Strategy Manager will drive the development of the strategic plan and oversee contributions to the corporate end-to-end annual and other planning process, including: setting timelines and process, developing templates, and supporting a number of different business units in building integrated plans. The incumbent will ensure credible and consistent annual Integrated Operating Planning (IOP) is aligned with the budget and clients strategic direction.

 

• Influence and direct the business planning process to ensure that the business is aligned behind the strategy.
• Lead business modelling and decision support on a range of scenarios of high strategic and operational value to the business. This will include developing and analysing the implications of a number of game-changing scenarios
• Define and align strategic initiatives across our clients engineering business units, engage with multiple areas of the business to ensuring the integrity of analysis and recommendations, business alignment and support of initiatives.
• Drive the day-to-day execution of the Integrated Operating Plan, NEO strategic plan and projects as agreed with the National Strategy manager.
• Build and maintain stakeholder relationships to ensure tight strategic alignment between Strategy & Transformation and our clients business units and key stakeholders
• Manage the production of a significant amount of high quality word documents, briefing notes and presentations for Executive team, Board and Shareholders.
• Confidently present findings and recommendations to senior management and Executive Committee members to enable an informed decision to be made.
• Identify specific risks and opportunities for the business and develop analysis to evaluate and strategies to address risks, covering network trade-offs, rollout options, Capex, Opex and Revenues.
• Development of an annual Integrated Operating Plan across the different business units to manage OPEX and CAPEX spend in line with clients corporate targets
• Consolidation of strategic imperatives and development of Programs of Work to be delivered
• Working collaboratively with key business stakeholders, provide critical advice and input into the development of business strategies
• Establishing key performance metrics and provide a support function to analyse and interpret the business performance and metrics.
• Monitoring progress against strategic benefits through the execution of the Strategic Plan
• Problem Solving through framing of problems and identifying key issues
• Communication through leading and actively participating in project meetings
