We are seeking an experienced IT Delivery specialist to join our team.  Link Group's market leading platforms administer ownership data for over 10,000 clients globally and drive user engagement through technology.  Underpinned by our investment in technology, people and processes, we deliver comprehensive data and information solutions for companies, large asset owners and trustees across the globe.  

The IT Service Delivery Manager (SDM) has accountability for the delivery of IT technical business services to Link Group internal Client(s). In executing this role, the SDM’s key functions are:

• Manage (matrix) the operational teams to deliver IT technical business services to the Client(s).
• Operate as the primary point of contact for IT technical business services into the Client(s) team.
• Manage and respond to the Client(s) requests for service and proposals in a timely manner.
• Operate as a conduit for Client(s) to engage IT Continuous improvement.
• Manage, to the best ability, the Client(s) active participation in IT matters (e.g. supporting IT incident remediation, planned outages, and BVT requests), when required.
• Overall govern the Client(s) engagement with IT, with regular meetings and reporting.
• Provide support to the Head of IT Service Delivery, Group CIO and their direct reports, to manage the overall outcomes of Group IT.

• 5 plus years in an IT delivery role, preferably with operational or business experience.
• Proven client facing experience.
• Working knowledge of IT technical business services such as web services
  
• Working knowledge of IT such as Wintel, Unix, networks, databases, application releases, SDLC
• Working knowledge of Service Level Assurance (SLA) management.
• Strong people engagement skills.
• A background in IT service delivery management would be an advantage.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and presentation skills.
• Good problem solving skills.
• ITIL practitioner (ITIL certification an advantage).
• Ability to micro-manage client requests when required, and ensure timely delivery.
• Ability to work autonomously and under pressure.
• Ability to prioritise issues and understand the related impacts.
• Excellent planning and organisational skills within a multi-tasking environment.
• Experience in working with third party vendors.
• Tertiary qualification in information technology or related discipline.
