An Australian Industry giant recently underwent the largest IT Transformation of its type and is now at the forefront of online customer experience.
In order to retain their leading position, multiple new roles are being creating with the digital innovation team for Senior (Full Stack - JavaScript / Java) Web Developers. This role will see the successful candidate operate as a Full Stack Developer, delivering intuitive customer solutions that fundamentally change the way consumers interact with their service providers.
As a Senior Developer you will play a lead role in the Digital Team, mentoring junior Developers and continuing to foster an innovative development culture. This ongoing role will suit candidates looking to step into a thought & technology leadership role as the team grows matures into the future.
Additionally you will:
- Act as a UI Development Expert, able to work collaboratively with business and Design Group to engineer intuitive and elegant web solutions.
- Remain at the forefront of Web technology and coding standards, to be able to guide the business through an evolving technology landscape and maintain their bleeding edge technology advantage
- Become a Digital Subject Matter Expert - able to educate junior developers and act as an advisor to the wider business.
- Maintain best practice coding standards and DevOps procedures.
To be successful in this role you will be a seasoned Software Engineer able to move seamlessly between front and back end development across a range of technologies. Knowledge of modern JavaScript frameworks is expected but the successful candidate will be an accomplished software engineer able to learn new technologies quickly, applying best practice code standards (clean code).
The existing environment includes a range of software solutions, platforms and frameworks and candidates able to apply their API knowledge across varied environments will excel.
