The Company:

The Opportunity:

The Business Analyst brings skills and experience to map business processes and translate the requirements into system specific solutions. This will require a self-motivated individual committed to delivering solutions that drive success. The Business Analyst will work collaboratively with service areas to plan, develop, drive and evaluate information technology projects to enhance efficiency and improve service delivery. The role requires providing leadership, assistance and direction on technical solutions that provide efficiencies and enhances client outcomes.

Key Selection Criteria:

Qualifications: 

• Relevant tertiary qualifications and a minimum of three years’ practical business analysis experience in a similar role
• Proven ability to understand and capture business and system requirements
• Knowledge of relevant systems, practices and relationships
• A good understanding of project and process management methodologies
• Current Victorian driver’s license

Knowledge:  

• Excellent numeracy skills and thorough knowledge of the system life-cycle
• Ability to think laterally, be proactive and establish effective IT systems
• Ability to foster a culture of customer service, ensuring actions and behaviours are in accordance with MiCare values
• Capacity to take initiative and work independently
• Client Management Systems

Skills: 

• Previous experience in a similar role
• Strong project management skills
• Experience within the aged care sector and/or a grant funded not-for-profit sector
• Experience in MS suite, SharePoint and broad experience in a range of software programs
