• 100 employee architectural firm reporting to IT manager

We have a vacancy for Desktop Support reporting to the IT Manager, in an architectural firm based near Circular Quay which employees 100 staff and is over 100 years old. Our company has related offices in Vietnam and in China.

You

• Must be an Australian resident or permanent resident to be considered for this role.
• Possess a least one year's experience in a desktop support role
  • being the first IT contact
  • troubleshooting and fixing problems with Microsoft Office 365 Suite, printers and telephony
  • setting up new PCs and re-imaging workstations and laptops
  • Diagnosing and solving hardware/software faults
  • Logging employee queries
  • Analysing call logs to spot trends and underlying issues
  • AD and office 365 user creation/deletion
  • Proactively administering backup and recovery operations by maintaining and monitoring backup equipment and data
• Possess qualifications in IT (university, TAFE or Micro soft certified)
• Have excellent English, customer service and rapport building skills
• Friendly and helpful
• Professional appearance
• Able to work between Monday to Friday 2pm - 6pm

Our IT environment includes

• Active Directory (AD)
• MS Hyper-V 2012 R2
• Office 365 (SharePoint Online, Exchange Online, Skype, OneDrive, Dynamics 365)
• Architecture software (Autodesk Building Design Suite, Sketchup, Rhino)
