The Role:
In this position, reporting to the SEO & Digital Producer, you will develop web accessible and browser compatible code based on digital designs, develop reusable code libraries and improve CMS functionality and template. You will also ensure pages and sites are correctly tracked and tagged and built within best practice guidelines and conduct code walkthroughs and quality assurance with development teams.
Your primary responsibilities will be to:
- Work with internal teams to develop content based on business priorities, opportunities, input and direction;
- Maintain and improve existing content assets, including website, blog and interactives;
- Implement changes to existing code and content to improve speed and assist with reaching other SEO goals;
- Ensure compliance with organisational policies and standards and with relevant statutory requirements;
- Foster new ideas and produce innovative digital content;
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions and research new concepts for content; and
- Drive multiple, simultaneous projects in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
Knowledge and Experience
- Front end development skills, with advanced knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript including jQuery;
- Strong knowledge of content management systems, ideally experience with Adobe Experience Manager;
- Familiarity with SEO concepts, Git version control and Java is highly regarded;
- Strong problem solving skills, ability to work independently and comfort with learning new software programmes;
- Ability to prioritise and communicate project status at any time;
- A good understanding of business and marketing principles;
- Experience working in an Agile team environment; and
- Relevant Industry experience.
