The Junior Technical Officer will be assigned to a specific group of schools to undertake the applicable work for this group. They will also be engaged in project and technical tasks that are required in projects.
This is a junior role and the max hourly rate will be $37.50 + super
Police check and WWCC checks will be required, please mention if you have a valid Working with Children Certificate.
Responsibilities:
- Provide quality assurance for work completed at schools by internal and external parties including verification of site surveys, cabling and installation.
- Record Wireless Access Points, local area network (LAN) switches and device locations against floor plans for records management purposes.
- Investigate, manage and resolve technical issues that are identified by project team members.
- Contribute and/or manage network cut overs.
- Provide high quality customer service by answering or redirecting of general enquiries received via telephone, email and other communication methods in an attentive and timely manner.
- Manage assigned tasks and collaborate with colleagues to ensure deadlines are met.
- Promote and ensure the use of agreed methods, tools and reference material to drive efficiency and consistency within the team.
- Report on the performance of assigned work/systems to guide the project in the development of business cases for necessary upgrades or decisions that will reduce issues and/or eliminate adverse impacts upon service delivery.
