Successful applicants will possess the following:

• Able to use core alignment fusion splicers
• Able to construct fibre optic joint enclosures (Tyco or Corning)
• Current Australian Drivers License
• Able to acquire a suitable and accurate OTDR trace
• Able to interpret, evaluate and report on the overall link quality
• Previous experience on the Telstra & Optus network
• Current First Aid and CPR
• Be reliable, able to work autonomously and be accountable
• An excellent work ethic taking pride in your position
• Cert III in Telecommunications (Perfered)
• Construction card and open cable registration (Prefered)

You will be responsible for:

• Completing assigned projects on time and within budget (Achieving high levels of productivity and accuracy)
• Communicating with customers effectively to provide updates or resolve issues
• Maintaining OHS standards

You will be provided with all necessary equipment to carry out works inclusive of company vehicle with all the required tools, Laptop, uniform and phone. In addition you will be given the opportunity to develop your career through ongoing skills assessment and training, with a company that sees safety as mandatory.

Pay structure for full time employee will consist of hourly rate (negotiable and assessed on an individual basis depending on level of experience and capability) as well as super contributions and co invest contributions.
