About the Role
The Senior Network Engineer will play a critical role in the design, maintenance and enhancement of Victoria University’s growing digital network to deliver a range of high quality Information Technology services across the organisation. Conceptualising, developing and reviewing network infrastructure solutions and mapping business requirements to technical requirements to ensure they are in line with University visions and strategies are key features of this interesting and varied role.
About the Person
Your career as a networking engineer is well established and, with around a decade of experience in large and complex organisations, you are now ready to step into a Senior Network Engineer role. A Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP), or with relevant industry experience, you are a technical expert whose skills in implementing and/or maintaining a range of network services are highly sought after, as is your ability to produce quality, well written technical documents. Customer focused with great communication skills, you are readily able to collaborate with internal clients to assist them to understand, define and document their requirements.
