We have a current opportunity for a Systems Engineer to start at the end of this month or at the earliest convenience of the successful candidate.
Our client is currently undergoing a legacy migration to the cloud. This role is heavily applications based and the successful candidate will have exposure to application assessment, road mapping around risk in migrating and ideally azure experience.
· Initial 3 month contract with possible extensions
· Start ASAP
· CBD Based
Successful applicant will be required for the following:
- Conduct application interviews (approx 30-40) with technical SMEs to ask predefined questions on app architecture, performance, security, operations, implementation details, infrastructure
- Analysis of technical documentation and architecture diagrams
- Run a tool for static analysis of application binaries
- Identify approach and scale of effort to migrate to Azure
- Identify a suitable application architecture for Azure
- Write a report with findings and recommendations
- Contribute to summary report
