The Client:

My client is a Parramatta based NSW Government Department. They are currently in the process of developing applications which will impact the nature of work across the entire business unit. 

The Role:

This role with report to an accomplished Director on an initial 11 month contract.

• Lead a project team involved in the design and development of mobile applications
• Prepare and monitor project plans, support project governance, identify, allocate and manage resources,
• Develop and implement strategies and tools for the continuous monitoring and evaluation of the project
• Lead and motivate the project delivery team in order to deliver the project outcome
• Manage vendor relationships through effective communication, negotiation and issues management

The Candidate:

• Comes with extensive experience as an ICT Project Manager working within an Agile environment
• Previous experience with projects involving mobile application development and implementation is essential
• Ability to take change and lead the project team
• Interpersonally you are a confident communicator who can communicate with stakeholders at all levels
• Certification in PRINCE2 is highly beneficial
• Extensive experience using Microsoft Project (MS Project)
• Experience using development tools such as JIRA and Confluence
