A major Utilities organisation is undertaking a digital transformation towards becoming a utility of the future by implementing a fully digital system where their systems and data, and people, are better connected. Over the next 24 months they will implement a number of ERP-EAM related 'building blocks', replacing the current legacy system with SAP cloud-based, software solutions.

Due to their growth they are currently seeking a Business Analyst with previous experience in EAM Integration with SAP systems for a 12 month contract, commencing within the next two weeks, and will be based in Nundah, in Brisbane’s city fringe.

As the Business Analyst you will have strong experience within an SAP integration environment. This could ideally be someone that has worked on integration between SAP and other ERP/EAM systems. As this project falls within the Asset Works function of the program an understanding of assets or asset management would be fantastic.

To be successful in the role you will have the following skills:

  • Ability to extrapolate current processes and system requirements from the SME’s and highlight the changes to the Change team.
  • A high level of verbal and written communication skills, and excellent Emotional Intelligence, and be able to bridge the gap between the business and technical teams
  • Demonstrated experience in analysing issues and preparing functional requirements, identifying gaps and opportunities that are critical requirements of the business from the future state solution. 
  • Experience in leading workshops to present business requirements and developing process maps to support the solution implementation and highlighting potential change management activities
  • Demonstrated experience in working businesses in the adoption of best practices, solving complex business problems and assistance with its implementation.
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting all phases of a large transformation program including testing and cutover activities.
  • Demonstrated ability in communicating with all forms of stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure the appropriate changes are communicated and decisions made in a timely manner.
