About the Role
The role will report directly to the Office of the CTO, focus on global operations of the CBL platform, with a wide spread of activities combining BAU and New Projects. You
You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence in the automation of operations and support of our technology platforms and infrastructure and be a key part in maintaining standards for end-to-end operational support and processes.
You will be able to provide solutions in delivery of automated services to our Australian and North American market operations teams and our code development teams to ensure robust, reliable, repeatable, and fit-for-purpose operational services and processes. You will take pride in your work and take ownership and accountability for meeting deadlines.
Experience
3+ Years working on most of the following or similar technologies, preferably in the financial sector.
- CentOS and AWS (2) Linux
- Python and Bash scripting
- Amazon Web Services (EC2, VPC, RDS, etc)
- PostgreSQL (admin and SQL transactional scripting)
- Ability to analyse log information to find root cause issues
- Documentation and diagraming
- Time-management
Desirable Skills
- Django
- Swagger
- KDB+ (and q)
- NodeJS
- PHP
- Ansible, Puppet and other similar technologies
- Service/Log monitoring technologies
- Network (switching and routing)
