Revolution IT is a leading APAC software testing consultancy, specialising in Test Automation with a focus on Agile and BDD projects. We have an exciting opportunity for a Backend Developers to join us on an initial 3 month contract working with one of our premium clients. This contract may extend for another 9 months for the right candidate.

Key Skills:

• Good development experience (preferred in Java & JavaScript).
• Node (JavaScript) development experience.
• Microservices design & architecture experience.
• (Nice to have) AWS architecture knowledge, including Docker, ECS, S3, SQS, etc.

Other Skills:

• Will need to work well with the other project team members, as well as the broader IT community – e.g.,
  • The Solution Architect, Business Analyst, and CX Designer who have developed the high level design to be implemented.
  • The Test Manager to ensure testing is performed as per the test strategy and test plan, and that defects are addressed as a priority.
  • SAP developers to ensure alignment of all the solution components, from detailed design through development and deployment.
  • The Delivery Manager to ensure priorities are understood, estimates provided, roadblocks identified, progress is tracked, etc.
• Ensure high quality unit testing is undertaken throughout development, including the use of test automation.
• Have a can-do attitude, be proactive and use initiative.
• Problem-solving ability.
• Good communication skills … written and verbal.
• Experience working on multi-faceted projects across multiple business areas, technologies, and delivery teams.
• Preference for experience with Retail and/or Supply Chain.
• Agile experience.
