Job Title: Sales Director, APAC
Department: Sales
Reports to: General Manager, Asia-Pacific

Located in Melbourne CBD, eXplorance is a rapidly growing software company recognised for its unique workplace culture. Currently, we are seeking a Sales Director who thrives in a demanding, fast moving environment to join our dynamic team.

The Sales Director is responsible for selling enterprise software to Higher Education institutions and organisations in the Asia-Pacific region. Responsibilities also include prospecting, lead qualification, achieving sales quotas and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction by managing all aspects of the sales cycle.

 

What you will do as our new Sales Director – APAC

  • Identify key decision-makers and build strong relationships with customers
  • Penetrate and develop major accounts and new prospects
  • Perform sales presentations to prospects
  • Negotiate contacts and close new business deals
  • Develops responses to requests for tenders/proposals (RFT/Ps)
  • Cold call as appropriate within the market or geographic area to ensure a robust pipeline of opportunities
  • Work closely with Marketing and Solutions Engineering and perform assessments to determine customer requirements
  • Present a thorough territory plan
  • Set challenging goals, monitor progress, and make sure that results are achieved as planned
  • Identify and close quick, small wins while managing longer, complex sales cycles
  • Exceed activity, pipeline, and revenue targets
  • Utilise a solution approach to selling and creating value for customers
  • Prioritise opportunities and applying appropriate resources
  • Develop and maintain sales materials and current product knowledge
  • Participate in marketing events such as seminars, webinars, and trade shows events

  • Outstanding organisational and process skills to ensure top priorities are consistently being pursued
  • Self-motivated, problem solver, and works with little direction
  • Hunter type personality combined with board room presence and presentation skills

Qualification/Requirements

  • Must have 5+ years of solid enterprise software sales performance
  • Experience in working with Higher Education Institutions
  • Experience in cold calling is required
  • Must have strong computer literacy skills, be aware of diverse business software applications, operating systems, programming languages
  • Must be willing to travel
  • Demonstrated ability to exceed individual quarterly and annual quotas
