About the Organisation
Our client is a CBD-based government agency with a number of high-profile projects that require multiple resources to support the delivery of new functionality and upgrades to corporate systems to ensure sustainability. These systems will enable our client to efficiently develop and implement national policies and programs to support and educate all Australians.

About the Role
As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing the development and implementation of a fit-for-purpose IT system. You will work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams within our client and another government agency assisting with the delivery.

• Budget and project deliverables
• Communication and change management
• Risk and issues registers
• Project closure

Skills & Experience

• Managing and implementing large IT business solutions for government
• Experience using PRINCE2 and SAFE project management methodologies
• Managing and reporting project deliverables using a risk management approach
• Stakeholder management skills
• Experience developing and implementing a framework to extend and mature project capabilities
• Knowledge of the DTA's Digital Service Standard is a bonus

It is a requirement of this position that the successful candidate must be an Australian Citizen and willing to obtain a Baseline security clearance. Possession of a current clearance is preferable.
