  • $25.40 - $26p/hr + Superannuation
  • Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm (but flexible could handle earlier or slightly later starts and finishes)
  • Start 23rd July to end of Sept + (min 2 months)

In this position you will be based in the Repair Centre and supporting the Repair Centre Manager, cleaning mechanical parts of ATM machines & doing assembly type work using small tools. They require an additional staff to assist for a special project (the roll out of the new $50 note) and you will be working within an existing team of 28.

Our client has asked for someone with previous production or assembly type experience so you will understand the repetitive type nature of the role and that in this role you will get your hands dirty, and you may be doing diagnosis work.

You will basically be cleaning components of the ATM machines as part of their servicing and repairs and doing basic assembly work using small tools, you will have your own work bench where you may sit down or stand up to work in the Repair Centre carrying out repairs on a range of ATM machines and technologies in a professional and quality focused manner.

Your role will include:

  • Working in the repair centre carrying out repair on a range of ATM’s
  • Fault diagnosis
  • Component level repair
  • Testing
  • Performs work with high standards and using quality workmanship
  • Conducting all activities in accordance with the Quality Management System
  • Works safely at all times, report hazards and incidents and follows training, policies and safe work procedures.

To be successful you must:

  • Demonstrated ability in the repair of electro-mechanical equipment
  • Previous experience in repairing ATM’s will be held in high regard but is not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Able to follow detailed instructions
  • Good organisational skills, ability to multitask and prioritise work
