Our client a well known Federal Government Agency is seeking experienced Developers to work within an agile environment.

 

 

Responsibilities:

• Develop code to organisational standards
• Undertake a combination of feature delivery, improvements and bug fixes
• Contribute to the evolving system architecture and design

Skills and Experience:

• a minimum 3 years experience in application development.
• experience as a Java Web UI Developer
• a background in Java, with experience using J2EE web services
• development experience in an agile environment
• good communication skills
• design, codes, tests, corrects and documents large and/or complex programs and program from supplied specifications using agreed standards and tools to achieve a well engineered result
• system/solution design abilities
• tertiary qualification in IT or equivalent

DESIRABLE but NOT essential:

• experience building PrimeFaces/JSF UIs.
• experience with Liferay DXP 7.0.
• experience with Maven, Git, Subversion, Hibernate, Spring, JBoss, Eclipse and/or OSGi
