About the role
This role would suit a Systems Engineer with strong SCCM, AD and Windows experience, with Sharepoint a nice to have. You should be able to work in an environment which is fast-paced with shifting priorities.
Skills and experience
- Demonstrated ability to work under pressure and to meet strict deadlines within team oriented structure
- Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar type role
- Must have in-depth exceptional experience with Active Directory in large scale enterprise with over 1,000 users
- Experience in networked systems support, in a Microsoft Windows 2008 and 2012 Client/ Server environment (or other Microsoft operating systems)
- Must have Solid excellent experience and knowledge of SCCM
- Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange 2007/10/13/16
- Strong knowledge of Windows 2008/12 server
- Strong VMware ESX/vSphere 5.x and 6.x Experience
- Strong hands on experience of automated server/workstation builds
- Solid Hardware knowledge (IBM, HP, Dell standalone or Blade system)
- Solid SAN knowledge (vSAN, Dell Equallogic, ISCSI)
- Some experience with a scripting language would be a nice to have (Perl, VB, Powershell, Kix script etc.)
- Knowledge and Experience working at an Enterprise level environment
- Experience in support of mission critical systems
- Previous experience working in an operational 24*7 environment
- ITIL foundation version 3
- Demonstrated accuracy and thoroughness in following procedures
- Good interpersonal skills (written and verbal) with the ability to deal effectively with personnel at all levels
- Good analytical and problem solving skills to achieve the goals set
