Private Universe is a well established Managed Services Provider, with a strong position in Midsize business and the Government sector.  As a growing company, we are looking for a passionate, technically sound, enthusiastic, customer focused, troubleshooting guru to join our team.  Is this you?

As a Service Desk Support Analyst, you will be exposed to many different technologies and services, including;

  • Cloud and on-premise data centre systems
  • VoIP PBXs
  • Data Communications
  • Server and Desktop Virtualisation
  • Networking/Security
  • Managed Services
  • Break/Fix Support

    Essential Requirements

  • Confidence with Microsoft's Server operating systems and server applications, including Active Directory/Group Policy, Hyper-V Virtualisation, Exchange, SQL Server.  Typically you would have 3-4+ years' experience in a similar role
  • Confidence with Office 365 deployments, both hybrid and cloud hosted only.
  • Experience and understanding of networking fundamentals, firewalls, switches, Wi-Fi etc.
  • Core network services such as DHCP & DNS.
  • Excellent analytical, diagnostic and problem solving skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Outstanding Customer Service
  • Eagerness to learn and develop new skills
  • The ability to multi-task and work autonomously
  • Highly effective organisational and time management skills
  • Attention to detail

    Responsibilities

  • Proactively monitor all incoming support requests, ensuring that SLAs are met.
  • Supporting the day-to-day operations of client infrastructure.
  • Responding to issues raised by alerting systems.
  • Documenting site configuration and procedures

    Non-essential Requirements (will be favourably looked upon)

  • VoIP experience
  • Powershell scripting capability
  • Linux administration
  • Windows Deployment Services
  • 3rd party LOB industry-specific applications

Salary

Expected salary package will be in the range of $65K-$75K (Commensurate with skills, experience etc.).
