As a Lead Software engineer, you will have experience across the technical delivery as well as remaining 50% hands on in your role. The team consists only of technology focused engineers who are always looking to improve their code and work across challenging yet exciting projects. Your Role
- Driving a team forward to help the delivery of greenfield and brownfield projects using the microservices architecture
- Ensuring that the coding standards across the team are up to company standards
- Mentoring and implementing the ideal practices, technologies and programming languages to ensure that successful results are achieved and sustained
Ideal skill set
- Experience across multiple different programming languages including Java/ Node.js/ Ruby
- Building and running a team
- Front end tools including Vue.js, React.js and Angular.js are highly regarded as well.
- Highly passionate about engineering and always keen to enhance your experience across new technologies.
- Experience across AWS infrastructure
- Understanding the structure, development and maintaining relational databases (MySQL/ Oracle)
- Thorough understanding of code testing, building pipelines and CI/CD processes
- Having the ability to advise strong solutions, but open to taking the opinions of others within the team
- Strong communication skills are a MUST
