Hi friend! We’re called Shortlyster and we are passionate about people and technology. Our mission is to revolutionise the recruitment industry, by creating a world of work where we help companies to find the best people, and we help people to find the best companies using recruitment science. And right now we’re looking for someone special to join our small and intrepid team.

Our product is both B2B and B2C and as it evolves, we need a junior product owner to own and improve the existing B2B product experience under the guidance of a Product Manager. While it would be preferable if you have experience in the field, this is not essential. Nor do we expect you to be a technical whiz. Though we are looking for someone who is energetic, can communicate effectively, has an intellectual curiosity and is passionate about building a product that helps both companies and individuals.

What you’ll do as a PO at Shortlyster

• Enthusiastically lead your team of developers towards our overall product vision
• Understand the Agile framework, but be flexible enough to change process when required
• Develop a long term roadmap with support from the Product Manager and then break that plan into smaller pieces of work
• Manage every aspect of your product through its entire lifecycle from concept to validation, build, launch and iterations.
• Use data to inform your decisions - whether that’s analytics, user research, survey feedback or face to face interviews.
• Define and flesh out user stories that capture problems faced by users
• Create and showcase your ideas
• Focus on the details and really understanding users
• Define and develop success metrics for your product
• Manage and prioritise customer support issues within your product

You may also:

• Design wireframes to convey your ideas
• Create low fidelity prototypes to test your ideas
