Our client is a global leader in the Telecommunications industry who provide services and turnkey solutions to major providers within the telecommunications industry. They are specialists in the designing, building and operating of social and business critical communication infrastructure throughout Australia, and are recognised for our technical excellence and delivery.
We currently have a 6 month contract opportunity open in Perth for an experienced Rigger to help support some current projects. Immediate Start is available, previous telecommunications rigging experience is essential.
Your role will include, but not limited to:
- Installation of telecommunications cabling and equipment
- Installation, relocation and removal of tower mounted equipment PIM testing, sweep testing, distance to fault, terminating feeders, bird proofing and waterproofing connectors
- Swapping out and decommissioning mobile telecommunication sites
- Upgrading existing mobile telecommunication sites
- Erecting and fixing steel structures to facilitate the installation of telecommunications equipment
- Working at heights on a range of telecommunications structures including poles, towers and masts to install antennas, feeders and ancillary equipment
- Conducting site audits
- Rigging and general work within the limits of your competency and qualifications, as required
- Use of EWPs
- Working at heights / rigging
Skills and Experience required:
- Previous experience (intermediate level)
- Current Drivers Licence
- EWP
- Tower Rescue
- HR Licence
- Senior First Aid
- Construction White Card
- Experience with Telstra, Optus, Vodafone, NBN, Huawei
- Excellent Attention to Detail
- Ability to work under effectively under pressure
- You must be available to travel and work away from home when / if required.
