Full Stack WordPress Developer

Full-time position 

Chromatix is a multi-award winning digital solutions agency based in Canterbury (Melbourne). Technical skills we need from you:

• Strong working experience in WordPress, WooCommerce, WordPress Plugin Development

• Expert in the fundamentals (HTML5, CSS3 and Javascript)

• Experience in PHP, MySQL, JavaScript (including jQuery)

• Experience with package managers (NPM, composer), build tools (Gulp, Grunt, Webpack or NPM scripts) and linting (ESLint, PHPCS, StyleLint)

• Understanding of API integration through RESTful web services

• Knowledge of API integration, CMS integration, MVC, OO

• Comfortable in using Git and GitHub for version control

• An expert in the LAMP stack but capability to take on other technology stacks.

Technology understanding that you have:

• CMS, eCommerce, REST APIs

• HTTP, Caching, SSL, DNS

• FTP, SSH

• How SEO is affected by development choices

• Project management methodologies (waterfall, hybrid, agile) and how they affect your work

Bonus Tech:

• Contributor to Open Source or WordPress Core
• Creating APIs
• Building Web Apps
• Developing Data Import/Export and Reports 
• Front-end Frameworks (React.js or Vue.js)
• Ability to deploy your work to a variety of hosting types (shared, VPS, AWS)
• Experience in Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (Travis CI, Buildkite, Bamboo etc.)
• Static-Site Generators
• DevOps skillz
