Mid-Weight Digital Designer

We are searching for a Digital Designer to join the design team at one of Sydney's leading digital startups. Due to their recent growth, they have opened up this newly created position.

Under the direction of the Head of Design, you will be responsible for the design of digital experiences across multiple projects and products. The ideal candidate will have experience in UX/UI design as well as digital design and must have the capacity to work autonomously. It will be a 70-30% split between digital design and UX/UI.


What you'll be doing

You will work within the design team to evolve the brand and style guide, website, platform and apps to make the experience as easy, fast and fun as possible for our customers.

Working with the growth team, you will create personas and customer journeys based on insights on their tracking data.

Personalise the journey to suit each individual user.

Design the right interaction at the right time to improve customer conversions.



Requirements

Solid knowledge of Sketch and Adobe Creative Suite.

You need to be familiar with all the ways data helps teach us about users.

Excellent communication and project management skills.

The ability to thrive in a fast-moving, startup environment.

Familiar with product prototyping.

2+ year experience in UX and UI digital.

4+ years experience in visual design.
