We are currently seeking a talented REVIT Interior Designer to join our Sydney studio for a 12 month contract. You’ll report to our Design Principal and work closely with Associates and Senior Designers to craft elegant and functional workplace solutions for our clients.
What you’ll be working on:
- Preparing concept designs with Senior Designers to pitch for projects, competitions and potential clients
- Preparing space planning, test fitting and schematic design schemes for commercial interior design projects
- Preparing design development presentations and documentation
- Preparing Revit model for Revit/Enscape visuals and/or panoramic VR’s throughout various phases of projects
- Liaising with engineering services and specialist sub consultants
- Preparing tender, Construction and Asbuilt documentation packages including drawings, schedules and specifications with live Revit Scheduling
What you’ll bring to the table:
- Strong Revit skills / Revit Documentation
- 3 -7 years’ interior design experience
- Bachelor degree in Interior Design or industry equivalent
- Demonstrate sound skills in overarching concept design to design development
- Technical knowledge and ability to developing fit out details and take the design through to documentation with an understanding of buildability.
- Ability and confidence in dealing with suppliers and manufacturers
- Good communication skills to convey design and technical intent as well as help upskill other staff members
- Familiar with Australian building regulations and standards
- InDesign and Photoshop skills
- An understanding of Enscape is a bonus
