The Company:

Parable Productions was initially established to produce the successful What’s Up Downunder TV program that appears Nationally on Network Ten and on ONE HD in Australia & New Zealand. With over 300 episodes under our belt, a number other of TV Shows in development and the development of new and exciting media platforms in: Digital, Web, Social Media & Print, Parable Productions is growing and we're looking for a junior graphic designer and content assistant to join our team.

The Role:

Your role is within a fun and dynamic, hard working team. This position is perfectly suited to a recent graduate who is looking at learning new skills and improving existing ones.

We are rapidly growing our online presence and will need a graphic designer to assist with the upcoming tasks at hand, this includes creating digital publications, creating EDM's and creating web assets. The successful applicant will also assist with writing, uploading and updating content across our various media.

Ideal Candidate:

•       Great graphic design skills in both print and digital, with a focus on digital publishing and advertising

•       Good understanding of design fundamentals and website layout

•       Good writing skills - Ability to story tell across multiple platforms

•       Experience with Adobe Creative suite (Photoshop, InDesign)

•       Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Word)

•       A good understanding of Mac operating system

•       An organized but creative thinker with a strong attention to detail

•       Knowledge of HTML and CSS advantageous

•       Knowledge of WordPress advantageous

•       Knowledge of Mailchimp or Campaign Monitor or other mail platforms advantageous

•       Knowledge of ZMags or similar digital publishing platforms advantageous

•       Understanding of Motion Graphics looked upon favorably
