My client is a leading financial services organisation who are expanding their CX portfolio and looking for an experienced CX designer to take part in a large program of work for a 12 month fixed term contract. This role will suit somebody who loves being the voice of the customer and keeps them at the heart of everything they do. 

The Role: 

• Shape, recommend and execute the HCD approach to understanding and designing for the customer 
• Conduct research to understand customer, partner and employee needs and test proposed solution concepts
• Facilitate the co-design of solutions to mutually improve both customer experience and business value
• Collaborate with a cross-functional team and stakeholders across the business to make pragmatic recommendations that balance desirability, feasibly and viability
• Contribute your skills and experience to ongoing Human Centred Design capability build, both within the team and across the organisation

The Skills: 

• You're have experience in ethnographic research methods to understand customer needs
• You're knowledgeable in research and design methods such as customer journey mapping and service blueprinting to articulate and optimise complex business ecosystems
• You love implementing digital solutions and have great knowledge of digital tools and trends
• You can bring your thinking into the physical space (whiteboards, Post-its, Lego) and create rapid tangibility with prototyping tools and techniques
• You have strong business and operational acumen with the ability to pitch the business value of a concept or recommendation to a diverse corporate audience
• You are a true people person and love working with collaborative teams
