About us
QOH Architects is a medium sized Architectural practice with offices in Sydney and Newcastle with a range of current educational, commercial, aged care and high end single residential projects across the Sydney, Hunter and Illawarra regions; offering clients a full Architectural service including master planning, documentation through to contract administration, as well as complete contract administration and project management.
In 2016 QOH Architects was awarded the RAIA Award for Educational facilities in Newcastle for our work on the Damascus Centre at St Paul's High School, Booragul.
Our team & Culture
Our team of around 25 people across both offices consists of 8 Registered Architects who take the lead on many projects with the assistance of younger, more recent graduates. We promote a mentoring environment and the investment of time into younger members of staff to encourage both development within the company and personal professional skill sets.
This position will provide you experience in the range of services we offer working closely with a Director or Project Architect.
Skills & Experience
We are looking for motivated people who can take initiative with enthusiasm in a supportive team environment and meet the following requirements:
- ArchiCAD (min 2 experience in workplace)
- BimX, Creative Suite and Artlantis preferred but not essential
- Masters/Bachelor of Design in Architecture (or equivalent)
- Minimum 2 years building project experience in Australia
- Excellent communication skills including graphics & presentation skills
- Well-developed detailing, documentation & project co-ordination skills.
- Sound understanding of local codes and statutory requirements.
Salary commensurate with experience level.
