This is a fantastic opportunity for a Senior Urban Designer to join a client side organisation for an initial 6 month contract - with the likelihood of further extensions.
As a senior urban designer your will be responsible for developing urban renewal programs throughout various areas of Parramatta for a major infrastructure project. You will do this through interpreting various planning information and converting that information into fit for purpose urban designs that match customer and transportation product requirements. You will also be responsible for driving urban design decisions to resolve issues that arise due to urban design, architectural, land use and landscape design issues.
To be successful you will require the relevant tertiary qualifications in Urban design, Landscape architecture or Architecture or have the necessary working experience, ideally in a client side organisation. Reporting into the Principal Manager for urban design you will also need to have good communication and mediation skills.
Aiming for a start date in mid to late August and based out of Inner Western Sydney, this role will be paying in the vicinity of $850 per day + super for the right person.
