Kovstruct is a licensed commercial design and construction firm specializing in office and hospitality projects for a diverse portfolio of clients all around Australia.  Based in Melbourne, we provide a bespoke concept to completion service that allows our clients to enjoy a seamless project delivered by one provider. We enjoy working with our clients to capture their unique ideas and characteristics, bringing to these to life in the construction process.  We understand that each business has its own story to tell, just like you.

Kovstruct currently has an exciting and unique opportunity for a mid-level experienced and qualified Interior Designer with a solid folio of commercial projects and an established network of suppliers and service providers.  You will be a part of an agile and collaborative business model that facilitates best results, as we continue on our rapid path of expansion.  Joining us in a part-time capacity, you will be remunerated well, and granted with the flexibility to negotiate your own hours and work environment – be it in the luxury of your own home or in our collaborative and comfortable CBD Exhibition Street office space. 

Your point of difference as our Interior Designer will be in your creative commercial design skills, confident communication skills, and an ability to coordinate projects that demonstrate a thorough understanding of our clients and stakeholders’ requirements as per timeframe and budget, ultimately creating a positive and engaging client experience from brief to completion.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Take ownership of the design life-cycle, including site inspections and surveying, establishing client briefs, feasibility and planning phases.
• Produce innovative, functional and creative design concepts that accurately reflect our clients brief.
• Ensure your designs meet the Australian Building Codes & Standards.
• Utilise a supply network that is suitable for a diverse range of clients, sourcing products as required.
• Produce accurate and dependable project documents that facilitate a seamless handover to our building project team.
• Provide a positive and engaging client experience from brief to completion.
