We’re currently looking for a Production Draftsperson to join our hard-working team! We're flexible with this role so we're open to candidates who live near our Dandenong or Altona offices. Reporting to our Drafting Workflow Manager, you’ll be responsible for supporting drafting requirements of our regional operations team.
 
A week in the life –

• Production of drawings including site plans, floor plans, elevations, internal elevations, details and sections, shadow and overlooking diagrams
• Carrying out variations to existing drawings
• Quality control to ensure all drawings are completed with 100% accuracy to reflect client contractual documents, regulatory requirements and Burbank standards within agreed time frames

What we’ll need from you –

• A Diploma of Drafting, Design or related qualification
• Demonstrated experience (2 years minimum) in drafting, preferably within a volume building environment
• Demonstrated proficiency in AutoCAD/ArchiCAD -  a must
• Demonstrated knowledge of NCC Building Regulations, rescode and Australian standards in residential construction – advantageous
• An ability to communicate effectively and work within a team
• Strong time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• A proactive and innovative approach to problem solving
• An understanding of the construction process, terminology and documentation - advantageous
