ABOUT THE COMPANY.
This boutique Interior Design firm, located in the heart of Newcastle, is currently looking for an enthusiastic, passionate, and highly experienced Interior Designer to join their diverse team. With a steady pipeline of work ahead, this position will see you evolve across a variety of commercial and workplace projects.
ABOUT THE POSITION.
As an Interior Designer, you will report to the company Director and will be involved in all stages of the project cycle. Such stages will include concept design, design development, and DA and CC documentation, and will allow you to showcase your strong design and technical expertise.
DUTIES.
- Report to the company Director
- Concept design and design development
- Liaise with clients
- FF&E scheduling
- Consultant coordination
- Tertiary qualification in Interior Design
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp
- A diverse portfolio demonstrating relevant commercial and workplace experience
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- The desire to go above and beyond your tasks
