Your new company
Our client is located in a designated growth area of Melbourne, currently ranked as the third fastest growing local government area in Victoria. The council has strategic initiatives aligned with improving connectivity in the region through major pedestrian and bicycle transport projects.
Your new role
In this role you will assist in the development of precinct structure plans, pedestrian strategy and bicycle strategy in the region. You will have the opportunity to broaden your skills and knowledge in transport planning with training from an established team and the coordinator of strategic planning.
What you'll need to succeed
The successful candidate will hold a tertiary qualification in town planning or relevant discipline and have a minimum of two years strategic planning experience in local government. The ideal candidate will have experience with land use planning in a growth areas council.
