About the role:

The key objective of this role will be to design, develop and produce high quality print and electronic design elements accurately and on time. You will have strong industry experience preferably in a production environment and able to balance a diverse and busy workload. What you will do:

This role will work closely with a dedicated team supporting pillars of the Supermarkets business. You will work closely with the Graphic Design and Marketing teams and have a hands-on role in the development of key promotional material. You will have a strong understanding of working in a production based environment where project completion is time sensitive. You will be required to

• Mentor and provide a high level of guidance, direction and design inspiration to other members of the Design team to build the overall performance
• Design and produce unique and effective print and electronic communications to deadlines.
• Reliably produce unique designs for cyclical and single-run communication projects.
• Understand visual language, shelf awareness, shopper impact and guidelines.
• Maintain brand consistency throughout all our marketing projects.
• Act as brand guardian for all IGA projects.
• Ensure the creative brief is met on all projects with the inclusion of all mandatory elements.
• Work closely with management to meet or exceed client expectations.
• Preparation and transmission of press-ready files for production.

What you will bring:

This is a great role for someone looking to step into a more senior position, but has enough experience to hit the ground running. You will have

• Minimum 5 years’ experience
• Certificate or higher-level qualifications in Graphic Design.
• Strong knowledge of Adobe CC Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
• Experience in advertising for instore branding, campaign creative, catalogues and POS.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
• Intermediate knowledge of prepress processes.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Close attention to detail.
