About the role.
Due to a recent opening in the team, an exciting opportunity exists to join our Design team at our head office based in Altona North, Vic. As a Pre-Press/Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for producing designs & drawings from developing initial concepts through to production ready documents and files. Supporting the Design & Engineering team and reporting directly to the Senior Graphic Designer, your diverse range of duties will include:
- Liaise with various stakeholders to develop scope
- Product & concept development
- Create visual mock-ups for customer review
- Design products & setup files for manufacture
- Assist in the development of marketing material.
- Working as a team to deliver outcomes
About you.
In order to achieve success in this role, we are seeking a motivated and experienced professional who encompasses the following skills and capabilities:
- Creative & innovative thinking
- Strong attention to detail and customer focused
- Team player attributies
- Display strong communication skills and confidence to deal directly with customers
- Graphic Design, Artwork Proofing and Pre-press
- Ability to work to tight project deadlines
- Proficiency in Adobe suite, RIP & Print software
- Experienced in various sign production techniques
- Preparing CNC router files, print and vinyl files
- Actively involved in team meetings, planning and execution of projects
- Knowledge of signage manufacturing methods & materials
- Experience with wide format Digital Print is ideal
- Can do attitude and high motivational skills
With a minimum of 3 years' experience in a design & branding environment.
