The Opportunity
The continued growth of Urbis in Melbourne means we are looking for two motivated and energised professional Consultants to join our Planning team. We are looking for energetic and passionate team players seeking an opportunity to be involved in city-shaping projects for a diverse range of private and public sector clients.
About You
As a Consultant your responsibilities will include:
- Providing a range of services including advice relating to land use, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, the approval process and management
- Drafting submissions, proposals and advice for clients;
- Taking a hands-on approach to build trust and confidence with new and existing clients, maintaining and growing strong client relationships;
- Working alongside other professionals on a range of multi-disciplinary projects, working to specification, to deadlines, within budget and with a commercial outcome
We are looking for candidates with relevant Victorian experience, and any candidates with Greenfields experience are favourable. The successful candidates will be able to demonstrate a combination of the following technical skills and attributes:
- Ability to prioritise the competing demands of multiple assignments and/or projects within agreed timeframe
- Strong capability in written and verbal communications and engagement with a variety of stakeholders
- An appreciation and understanding of impacts and issues affecting land use and development
- Ability to seek and share best practice inside and outside the organisation to deliver high quality, innovative outputs
