Web design company in Sutherland (near the station) is looking for an outgoing person with eye for detail for junior web and mobile app design role. Hours are flexible but we are looking for someone able to work full time 37.5 hours per week. Part-time applicants with suitable experience will be considered.

Web design experience desirable, but capability and positive attitude are equally important.

That means if you are a capable designer looking to get your foot in the door, this may be your chance. This is a design role for someone with strong development skills.

The ideal person for this role will be able to work independently and have excellent communication skills.

You will be involved in projects from brief to launch and will work collaboratively with other members of the design team to achieve your goals.

To be successful in this role, technically you will need to have

• formal qualification in Web Design
• front-end development experience with Wordpress
• experience with HTML5,  CSS and responsive design
• ability to use Adobe CC suite
• a practical, hands-on, understanding of website design projects - from start to finish.
• basic knowledge of SEO principles

And on a personal level must possess:

• excellent English speaking and writing skills
• an understanding of the difference between "art" and "design"
• a practical awareness project deliverables, time frame, and budget
• a personal interest in emerging trends in web design and web technology
• solid organisational and time management skills
• excellent customer service skills and be goal oriented
• the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment

We are located in Sutherland near the station. Public transport and street parking are available. Please confirm the traveling time before applying. Preference will be given to those traveling less than 90 minutes each way, and you must be currently living in Sydney.

This is a web design role. Technical experience is required but can be developed on the job. We would consider a developer that can demonstrate a high level of design skill or is able to work efficiently with design support.
