An excellent opportunity exists for a Graphic Designer to join our Head Office team at The Good Beer Company. The right candidate will have a hands-on approach to their work, a passion for hospitality and an interest in craft beer.
The Good Beer Company owns two well known pubs located in Sydney. The Keg & Brew in Surry Hills, which is currently under renovation to become a multi-level venue which will include a rooftop bar! The second, The DOG Hotel which has a focus on functions and craft beer with 59 taps to choose from! It’s a local’s favourite in the suburb of Randwick.
We are looking for a Graphic Designer to support our in-house marketing and branding activities. The ideal candidate will also have an interest in Digital Marketing to assist the Marketing Manager where necessary.
This role is suited to someone with a few years’ experience in the industry who has a sound knowledge of photography, digital design and software including Illustrator, Photoshop and Indesign.
Responsibilities include:
- Highly proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop)
- Good design and layout skills with proficiency in producing quality artwork
- Proficient in producing branded documents, flyers, advertising and website material
- Ability to assist with creating brand style guides and concepts
- Assist the Marketing Manager with digital marketing and marketing activation roll out
Essential Criteria:
- Solid work ethic and able to work flexible hours if required
- Organised, self-motivated with attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
- Creative flair
Desirable:
- Photographic skills
- Knowledge of online and social media platforms is an advantage
- Experience in the hospitality industry
