Have you just finished or are about to complete a fashion related course at University or Tech and are looking for a full time job?
Excellent entry level opportunity has become available to join our team at a well established offshore apparel manufacturer based in Sydney.
You will need tertiary qualifications in a fashion related course & some work experience, your responsibilities could include but will not be limited to:
- Liaising with offshore suppliers and customers.
- Preparing packages for offshore suppliers.
- Maintaining order tracking systems.
- Monitoring orders from placement to completion to ensure on time delivery to required quality standards.
- Computer work using Photoshop, Illustrator, Excel, Word & Outlook.
- Creating customer CADs, Storyboards and Mood boards.
- Graphics & artwork
- Documentation of construction & fit comments
- Liaising with patternmakers and our design team
- Checking quality, construction and measurement of samples
- Working across a diverse product range both in styling and fabrication
The successful candidate should have excellent communication skills, patternmaking knowledge and the ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment.
