WHO WE ARE:

Performance Frontiers are vibrant team of designers and facilitators dedicated to human-led transformation.  We believe in our human capacity for transformation on an individual and whole system scale. We work with leaders and teams to unlock this capacity. We help them transform their behaviours, ways of thinking, working and engaging with each other, their culture, strategy and systems to enable greater meaning, capability, joy and sustainability.

Collaboration is at the heart of what we do. Our Brisbane studio is a creative, social hub that buzzes with life and inspiration. Our work is dynamic and always evolving -- it keeps us on our toes. We never stop thinking, designing, ideating and creating in collaboration with our diverse clients. Does this sound like the place for you?

YOUR OPPORTUNITY:

This is a unique full-time opportunity to join a growing team and a niche organisation working alongside an exciting, varied clientele. You will develop interactive resources and tools that enhance our client’s learning experiences and help clarify complex ideas (print, digital and online). Everyday you will be developing diverse design collateral, from banners and workbooks, tangible tools and resources, to digital infographics and online platforms. Each of your designs will directly leave an imprint on the people and cultures of Australian and international brands. You will also contribute to the visual signature of our own brand.

We invest in our people. As part of our commitment to supporting human capacity and innovation, we will support your creative journey through a number of skills and development opportunities each year.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Design highly creative, interactive tools and resources for client programs (print and online)
  • End-to-end execution of design collateral, including concept development and print/resources collection
  • Unpack client and team briefs to develop design assets that are visually distinct, at a high professional standard and tailored to the client
  • Meticulous editing of documents (working predominantly in Indesign)
  • Project management of multiple, complex and often conflicting design projects and tasks (including liaising with clients, sourcing supplier quotes, arranging delivery of material, setting budgets and sticking to them, meeting tight deadlines, documenting design hours and resources for billing etc.)
  • Maintain a deep understanding of our clients, their programs and our learning content to ensure all design assets are visually consistent for the duration of the program, are on-brand and communicate the desired learning
  • Initiate new systems, processes, resources or materials wherever you see room for improvement
  • Collaborate with our team and clients to contribute fresh ideas, ideate and problem-solve, never losing sight of the bigger picture
  • At times, go above and beyond your role as a member of a small business -- we all stretch at times, and this is how we evolve and grow our skills

SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Masterful use of the Adobe Creative Suite
  • Microsoft Office skills
  • Tertiary level qualifications
  • 3+ years industry experience
  • Design thinking - understanding the big picture, working with vision, generating ideas, and iterating
  • Decision-making under pressure
  • Problem-solving in the face of uncertainty or ambiguity
  • Communicating confidently and effectively - you speak up, you ask questions, you ensure clarity at all times
  • Project management, administrative and time management skills are essential
  • Driver’s license is essential

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

You are a mid-level graphic designer who is inquisitive, innovative and highly motivated. You have a relentless commitment to quality creative output and can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. You have the resilience and fortitude to go the extra mile and meet tight deadlines while producing quality designs. You have an innate understanding of aesthetics (i.e. composition, colour, typography, animation, web-design, photography) and how design influences and inspires people. Your creativity is coupled with a commitment to the nitty gritty of project management and dedication to upholding systems and processes. You are always learning and growing - researching cutting edge design trends, upskilling in new technologies, and experimenting with different mediums to create your best work.

HOW TO APPLY:
