About the Role
We are currently seeking a fixed term Junior Graphic Design Assistant on a 12-month contract, to work in either our Brisbane (Loganholme) or Gold Coast offices.
Reporting to our Marketing Manager (with direction from the Brand BDM’s and Graphic Designer) you will be involved in the following activities:
- Creating and updating digital and print assets including specification sheets, flyers and posters
- Upholding branding guidelines
- Editing Product photos
- Website assistance
- Supporting the Marketing and Graphic design team with daily requests
- Marketing collateral development and management
- Development of new designs and initiatives
- Product branding in accordance with individual branding guidelines
- React to and schedule stakeholder requests
About the Person
To be successful in this position you will be adaptable and enjoy the rush of working in a fast-paced environment. It is Paramount that you can diplomatically source the required information from your key stakeholders to execute deliverables.
Additionally, you will also need to demonstrate previous experience in a similar role, and possess the following attributes:
- A Tertiary Qualification in Graphic Design (highly desirable)
- Sound website management skills, preferably using WordPress, Magento or both (highly desirable)
- Entry level HTML code writing skills (highly desirable)
- Visual merchandising and POS development experience (desirable)
- Competency with Apple Software (desirable)
- Above average competency with the Microsoft Office Suite couple with strong Adobe Suite skills
- Strong Written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to interpret marketing requirements from briefs
- Scheduling ability
Eligibility
To be eligible for employment with us you must have the following:
- be an Australian citizen or have permanent residency status
- a Special Category Visa with unrestricted stay and work rights in Australia
- be able to successfully complete a National Police Clearance prior to commencement
