The Company:

Torque Media Communications is an accredited, full service advertising agency situated in Southport on the Gold Coast. Owned by the Frizelle Sunshine Automotive Group, TMC has a suite of leading global automotive brands in its portfolio in addition to some of South East Queensland’s most recognized brands outside of Automotive. These brands are market leaders in their respective categories.

The Role:

TMC is seeking to appoint an In-House Graphic Designer responsible for servicing the Group’s retail advertising requirements as well as supporting other areas such as digital design and maintenance.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their organisational skills, technical expertise and ability to meet deadlines combined with creative thinking and idea generation.

They will be an articulate and confident communicator with a deep understanding of brand marketing and corporate identity guidelines. An ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders is vital as is impeccable attention to detail, task orientation and system adherence.

What we are looking for:

• Minimum of three years’ experience as a Graphic Designer
• Intermediate to advanced desktop publishing skills using the Adobe Creative Suite
• Experience editing and designing retail advertising collateral will be highly regarded.
• Ability to work across many projects
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
• Solid understanding of brand marketing and corporate identity guidelines
• Ability to use own initiative and design skills to achieve best results
• Proficient with Wordpress, CSS and HTML is essential and will be critical to the success of this role
• Team oriented
• Strong communication skills

Responsibilities will include:

• Liaise with the Marketing Team to determine most effective creative for monthly marketing campaigns
• Access client portals to customise manufacturer brand campaign creative to dealership requirements
• Design, create and produce marketing and advertising materials according to Corporate Identity Guidelines including; in-store promotional materials, external store signage and press advertisements to strict deadlines.
• Creating digital elements such as eDM’s, e-newsletters, website graphics and landing pages
• Updating website content regularly
• Maintain current knowledge of our automotive models and brands to successfully create designs
• Provide general support to wider business including assisting in developing creative campaign ideas, concepts and mock-ups

A current QLD driver's license & your own car are mandatory.
