About the Role:
Based at Acacia Ridge, an exciting new opportunity has become available for a Residential Draftsperson to become an integral member of the team. This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to grow their experience and gain hands on exposure to the WHOLE of building design process – engineering, design, survey, approvals, town planning – you will run your own jobs and liaise with all of the stakeholders.
Whilst your technical aptitude is pertinent, it is your positive, dedicated and forward thinking approach that is critical. Your demonstrated experience with Revit will be utlilised to draft all aspects of residential building plans in this fast-paced environment. Your passion for the industry and desire to produce efficient and quality outcomes for clients will ensure your fit within the existing team.
Your skills and experience:
- Tertiary qualifications in Building Design or related field.
- IDEALLY minimum 12 months demonstrated experience producing Residential Housing Plans
- Familiarity with the building codes in South-East Qld.
- Demonstrated high level skills and hands-on competency in Revit.
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office Suite software.
- An eye for detail and focus on accuracy and Quality Assurance.
- Strong communication skills.
- Highly motivated, committed, team focused and reliable.
- Proven ability to take ownership of delegated tasks with demonstrated initiative and time management skills.
- Positive “can do attitude” and a hands-on “finisher”.
- A desire to be challenged and to expand your skill set.
