Work for a global retail/ecommerce company leading their UI designs for the Australian and New Zealand business. Be involved in presenting concepts to the C-Suite, mentor a junior UI Designer, collaborate with digital project and development teams and design UI concepts across app and web platforms.

Description
Reporting into the Head of Digital and partnering with a number of areas in the business, this role will lead the User Interface design fucntion. Key duties include:
- Collaborate with product management and project teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals and experience
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand-off
- Conceptualize original ideas that bring simplicity and user friendliness to complex design roadblocks
- Create wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
- Present and defend designs and key milestone deliverables to peers and executive level stakeholders
- Work with the Customer Experience Manager implementing user feedback to enhance designs
- Establish and promote design guidelines, best practices and standards
Profile
In order to be considered, applications will desmontrate:
- Proven UI experience
- Demonstrable UI design skills with a strong portfolio
- Solid experience in creating wireframes, storyboards, user flows, process flows and site maps
- Proficiency in Sketch, InVision and Adobe Suite or other visual design and wire-framing tools
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript for rapid prototyping is advantaqgeous
- Excellent visual design skills with sensitivity to user-system interaction
- Ability to present your designs and sell your solutions to various stakeholders.
- Ability to solve problems creatively and effectively
- Up-to-date with the latest UI trends, techniques, and technologies
