SHOWROOM & IN HOME CONSULTANT (Retail and Interior Design Industry) - A stunning working environment in top location, beautiful product and terrific support. An active role requiring both a keen eye and super strength.

We are a growing luxury handcrafted rug company based in Armadale that offers its employees a gallery style working environment, luxurious handcrafted product along with hi tech support. 

The Company: The Rug Establishment is quickly becoming Australia’s number one custom made luxury rug company servicing both the Interior Designer and Retail market. We have been operating for over 12 years and are known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.

• Our company is dedicated to the highest level of service and quality products and are continually evolving designs to both meet and create future trends.

• We offer in-home consultancy and VIP delivery services which is a major part of this role.

The Position: Due to business growth, we’re looking for a strong, fit design enthusiast with skills and interest in Interiors, Colour and Textiles to focus on in-store visual merchandising and in-home consultancies and deliveries. Must love dealing with people and have a valid driver’s licence, be well presented, very organised, physically healthy, and tech savvy to operate a Mac. The pay range we’re offering is commensurate with experience and results.

• We have a small, dedicated and fun team.

• We work on a rotating ten day fortnight, where working a four hour Saturday means you get a full day off during the week!

• We also offer long term scope and ability to grow in the role and within the business.

• We are seeking someone with flair for merchandising, and the muscle required to move the actual product.

The Location: The Rug Establishment Melbourne Showroom is based in Armadale, a one minute walk from Armadale Station and right on Tram Route 6. Surrounded by a plenitude of great cafes and boutique shops, it’s a vibrant, buzzing and neighbourly environment.
