Our client is an award-winning advertising agency seeking a Digital Designer to join their team on a immediate basis in a full-time capacity
This Junior Digital Ad Designer will be a creative thinker, a fast learner, and an eager contributor. Main responsibilities are to build and export assets for digital advertising, with minor backend coding. S/he will have a good understanding of creative tools
On a day to day you'll be creating exciting design concepts across websites, EDMs, Banners, mobile and social. As a digital designer you'll be tasked with responding to briefs and designing a multitude of digital products and online campaigns that ensure there clients are set apart from their competitors.
A good knowledge of the following tools is required:
- InDesign
- Illustrator
- Photoshop
- Flash
- HTML
- CSS
- Sketch
- Adobe
Qualifications
- At least 1-3 years experience as a digital designer, preferably within an agency
- Experience designing web-ready digital assets including emails, homepages, onsite-banners, landing pages, display advertisement, etc
- Must be able to provide a portfolio of commercial work
- Mid level skills in Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
- Ability to produce impactful and engaging design across all digital platforms
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles
- Experience with CSS and HTML skills and knowledge would be great but not a dealbreaker
- Ability to work across multiple brands and within brand guidelines
- Strong written and communication skills as well as excellent attention to detail
- Positive attitude and a passion for digital
