The practice
This small practice with beautiful offices in Surry Hills is looking to add a Senior Architect to its team. The practice is working cross sectors, but is currently most busy in residential and commercial child care. It has a friendly and flexible work environment. As the practice is currently very busy and is looking to grow extensively in the next year, this is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to take responsibility and grow together with the practice, with opportunity to progress to associate level down the track. 

The role:

The practice is now looking for a skilled Senior Architect  to join their friendly team. They are looking for an experienced senior architect with extensive experience of leading both teams and projects.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage a team.
• Manage all aspects of the planning, design, documenting and project management of an architectural project. 
• Liaise with consultants and clients
• Plan and monitor costs and time associated with projects
• Prepare and check documentation
• Design work
• Tender related work and Contract administration

Essential skills and experiences

• NSW Registration 
• A minimum of 6 years local experience
• Experience of managing all aspects of  projects. 
• Experience of liaising with consultants and clients
• Experience of leading a team
• Proactive Attitude
