This is an exciting opportunity to work with an Interior Design Studio that specialises in high-end hospitality and retail projects across Australia and South East Asia.

Due to increasing projects located in South East Asia they are currently seeking an interior designer to become part of their talented team. Based in Melbourne, this role will focus on key client management for projects based in South East Asia as well as working on locally based projects from concept to completion.

Key responsibilities

• Work closely with key clients to communicate progress on projects in South East Asia
• Coordinate with team members working remotely in South East Asia to deliver projects on time and on budget, contributing as required
• Design and deliver local projects as part of a collaborative team
• The successful candidate must be open to travel as project work involvement in South East Asia will be likely

Skills & experience

• Fluent Vietnamese language skills are required, and an understanding of Vietnamese culture will be highly regarded
• You will have excellent hospitality and retail sector experience with a strong portfolio demonstrating your design capabilities
• Demonstrated Revit documentation and detailing knowledge is required
• Excellent presentation is necessary as a key aspect of the role will entail client facing responsibilities
• A commercially savvy designer will be highly regarded
• Demonstrated knowledge of Australian Standards and local guidelines is required
• Ability to work successfully autonomously and as a collaborative team player is sought
• A recognised qualification in Interior Design/Interior Architecture is required
